A meeting of the North Shores Board of Governors was held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company – second floor. Attending the meeting were: Bruce Wilson, Paul Salditt, Donnee Ramelli, Mary Haverback and Debbie Director.
There was a discussion about changes to reassign various board positions. A vote was taken to have Bruce Wilson continue as President. Paul Salditt has asked to relinquish his position as Vice President, given the large number of construction projects being proposed in the neighborhood, to allow him to focus on his position as head of the Architectural Review Committee. The scope of Paul’s position as head of ARC has expanded greatly over the past year. A motion was made and carried to nominate Mary Haverback as the new Vice President. The Board approved Donnee Ramelli to continue as Treasurer and Debbie Director to continue as Secretary.
The Board outlined issues brought to their attention at the annual meeting earlier that morning. They included a request for premium beach chairs and beach umbrellas not placed by the lifeguard staff. President Bruce Wilson announced to the members that he had submitted a construction application for a new home to be built at his address and that he would recuse himself from communications or decision-making about the application.
