The Board adopted a budget for 2007.
The Board voted to shift its reserves to a Vanguard Money Market fund, and directed the Treasurer to select the Prime account.
The Board agreed to look into selling T shirts and sweat shirts at the pool this summer, which contain the North Shores logo.
The Board authorized the purchase of a new beach vehicle, to replace the one that has worn out.
The Board drafted a letter to the owners of a property under construction, directing stoppage of ground site work until questions are settled re compliance with the covenants regarding a grade change and approval of the driveway materials.
After reviewing several landscaping bids for 2007, the Board delegated a final decision to the President.
The Board adopted the following new Community Regulation: All requests to use the beach or other common property for weddings or events must be submitted to the Board at least three weeks in advance. NSBG may require a refundable security deposit and may require that a member of our staff be present to monitor the affair and access to the common elements. In order to protect the dunes, all access to the beach for delivery and collection of equipment must be made at the main beach entrance (next to 22 Ocean Drive), in the presence of and coordinated with a member of the NSBG staff.
In view of the build up of the dunes this winter, the Board approved construction of new pedestrian walkways over the dunes if an application there for is approved by the State of Delaware.
The Board decided that, for this year’s Annual Meeting for election of Board members, the advance ballot which is sent out will contain an option thereon for a limited proxy, and that a general proxy form will not be distributed by the Board.
The Board chose the date of Friday, May 25, 2007, (the day before the Annual Meeting), for its next regular meeting.
