The next item of business, end of season bonuses, was presented by Treasurer Helen Hoart. The Board discussed the current compensation level for all members of the staff, the established hours for management employees, reporting requirements and vacation compensation. After discussion and consideration of the season’s performance, the increased number of residents, the absence of resident outbursts similar to those occurring during the 2016 Season, and such other factors as the Board considered relevant to the compensation of employees, the recommended bonuses were approved unanimously.
The construction application for the replacement swimming pool at 30 Harbor Road was the next item of discussion on the agenda. ARC Head, Paul Salditt, reported that he was still waiting for the drainage plan for the proposed pool and patio construction. The plan will be required to incorporate as part of the design, the drainage solutions currently in place by the immediate neighbors and the complex nature for storm water management in that area . President Wilson asked Paul to contact the design firm to obtain the drainage plan.
