Meeting – 05/24/14
A meeting of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of North Shores Board of Governors, Inc. (the “Corporation”) was held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, immediately following the Annual Meeting for North Shores property owners. Present at the meeting were: Secretary Debbie Director; Treasurer Donnee Ramelli; ARC Head Paul Salditt; and Vice President Mary Haverback and Helen Hoart. President Wilson was absent, due to his required attendance at the Rehoboth City Manager’s office to discuss the security arrangements for the planned use of Gordon’s Pond for the July 4th Fireworks parking.
The first item of business for the Board was the configuration of the officers of the Corporation for the coming year. Bruce Wilson was retained as President of the Corporation and the current configuration of the other officers will remain the same. Following the discussion at the homeowners meeting of the Board’s desire to involve additional homeowners in the business of the Corporation, the Board appointed Helen Hoart as an officer of Corporation serving in the position of Assistant Treasurer. Appointed officers serve the Corporation in an official capacity at the pleasure of the Board to assist with the work of the Corporation, and the Board will routinely consult the officers on matters within their scope of authority. The Board outlined Annual Meeting discussion items to be considered in the future by the Board. These included evaluating drainage on Ocean Drive north of the Farview crossover as well as a beach pass system for improved security.
