Meeting – 04/06/14
A special meeting of the Board was held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the office of Board President Bruce Wilson. Present in person and by teleconference were: President Bruce Wilson; Secretary Debbie Director; Treasurer Donnee Ramelli; ARC Head Paul Salditt; and Vice President Mary Haverback.
President Bruce Wilson reported that neighbor comments had been received on the proposed construction at 16 Cardinals Lane. Discussion involved possible modifications to the proposed plans because of the close proximity of some design elements to the property line, violating the setback rules. ARC Head Paul Salditt explained the plans and their potential non-compliance with the covenants. A compromise was discussed to modify the plans making them more acceptable to the immediate neighbors and allow construction with the submitted footprint, requiring a Board-approved variance to permit construction just slightly within the 15-foot setback area.
The discussion concluded with all members agreeing that Bruce Wilson will present the proposed changes to the homeowners involved. Secretary Debbie Director confirmed that timelines for the required 30 day processing of the application would allow for further discussion between parties.
