Annual Meeting and Election of Board Members:
The Board agreed on the language for a sample proxy form. The Board noted that in view of the fact that only 3 candidates filed declaration of candidacy for three positions, and in view of the fact that the deadline for filing is now past, the election will be uncontested and can be conducted by voice vote.
Dunes Crossovers:
The Board agreed on an email letter to be sent to the property owners on the North Shores email distribution list notifying them of the threat of a lawsuit regarding the dunes crossovers.
Amendment to the Community Rules:
The Board adopted a new community rule limiting the size of boats moored in the Yacht Channel to 8 feet in width. The new rule reads:
“Boats moored in the Yacht Channel may not exceed 8 feet in width.”
Beach Umbrella & Chairs Concession:
The Board authorized the Club Manager to hire additional beach crew staff, if deemed necessary.
Next Meeting Date:
The Board set Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 2pm, for its next regular meeting.
