Meeting Notice — June 10 2020

A special meeting of the Board was held on Wednesday, June 10. Due to the short notice given in arranging the meeting, notice of the meeting announcement was waived. Attending the meeting by teleconference, in compliance with the Delaware State of Emergency, were: President Bruce Wilson, Secretary Debbie Director, Treasurer Helen Hoart, Vice President Louisa Hollman and Assistant Secretary Evan Thalenberg. Community Manager James Allen and Beach Club Manager Maureen Brown also attended the meeting.
The meeting was called to order by President Wilson at 8:15 a.m. and a quorum was declared. In Executive Session, based on the advice of outside counsel, the Board discussed a report of one of a staff member testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.
After discussion and a report from the Beach and Pool Manager, the board directed that employees affected by the contract tracing will not return to work until they have been tested and the test is negative. The Board will continue to monitor the potential impact of quarantine requirements on the staff and staffing of the beach and pool. An email to the community informing them of an employee testing positive will be sent later in the day.
