Meeting – 10/09/12
A Special Meeting of the North Shores Board was held to evaluate the contractor bids received for construction of the new pool house. All Board members were present, as well as staff member Phyllis Donovan, and architect and guest Rob Miller. The meeting was held by conference call. Final bids had been received and architect Rob Miller had met with each of the builders. There were two rounds of bids, with three builders remaining in the final round. The Board discussed the merits of each builder and their management of the job. Critical factors in the selection included additional cost savings, management of the job site, and quality of workmanship. The Board voted to approve President Bruce Wilson and Rob Miller to negotiate the final AIA contract with Phillip Bradley.
